GENERAL COMPETITION CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

PLEASE NOTE: These are in addition to the conditions of entry for each competition.

 Information on how to enter, and prize details, form part of these conditions of entry.
 Submission of an entry is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.
 Entrants may be disqualified at any time in the event of any non-compliance with these conditions of entry.
 Youth Awards are open to artists aged 18 and under.
 The entry form, accompanied by the appropriate fee, is to be delivered or posted to the Boonah Arts Collective by Friday 15th August 2008.
 There will be no refunds.
 Entries must be the unaided work of the artist (except where it is indicated that collaborative entries are acceptable) and must be completed in the last 12 months.
 All artists must allow their work to be reproduced for publicity purposes.
 Entrants give permission to the Boonah Arts Collective Inc to use photographs taken during the course of the SPAR Arts Festival for display and/or promotional purposes.
 The Boonah Arts Collective management committee reserves the right not to exhibit any entries they deem to be unsuitable in any category.
 Works will be judged on originality and interpretation of theme.
 All prize money will be divided at the discretion of the judges.
 Should there be insufficient entries and or the judges consider the entries not to be of a required standard, a prize may not be awarded. Judges will have the authority to share an award if they so decide. 
 The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
 All entries must be delivered and collected at the expense of the exhibitor.
 No late or unfinished entries will be accepted.
 While all care will be taken with the entries, the organisers cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage incurred before, during or after the parade/exhibition.
 No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost, misdirected, incomplete or incorrect entries.
